1. Data We Collect
Contact & Inquiry Data
When you submit a contact form, make an offer, or list a domain, we collect the following information: your full name, email address, message content, and any domain names you reference.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps.
Newsletter Subscription
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR – your explicit consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at: info@domaingex.com
Technical Data
Your IP address and browser information are automatically processed by our hosting provider (Hostinger) for security and operational purposes. When you submit a form, your IP address is also used briefly to prevent abuse (rate limiting) and is checked by Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from automated bots. IP addresses are not stored with your message.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interests.
2. Cookies
We use only technically necessary storage. Cloudflare Turnstile may use strictly necessary data to protect our forms from spam. The Domain AI tool keeps your recent analyses in your own browser (local storage) — this never leaves your device. The owner control panel uses local storage for its login session. We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies, and fonts are served from our own server (no Google Fonts requests). Therefore, no cookie consent banner is required.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. Data may only be shared with:
- Hostinger International Ltd. – website hosting and our e-mail inbox
- Supabase Inc. – secure database storing inquiries, listing submissions and newsletter sign-ups (EU data region)
- Cloudflare, Inc. – Turnstile spam protection on our forms
- Resend, Inc. – delivery of internal e-mail notifications to us when you send a form
- Escrow service providers – only when a transaction is initiated, and limited to the data necessary to complete the transfer
4. Data Retention
- Contact inquiries and offer messages are retained for 24 months, then permanently deleted
- Newsletter subscriptions are stored until you unsubscribe
- Technical server logs are retained for 30 days
5. Your Rights Under GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data (Article 15)
- Correct inaccurate data (Article 16)
- Request deletion — "the right to be forgotten" (Article 17)
- Restrict processing (Article 18)
- Data portability (Article 20)
- Object to processing (Article 21)

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority. In Germany, this is the Bundesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit (BfDI) or the data protection authority of your federal state.
6. Data Security
All data is transmitted using SSL/TLS encryption. Our hosting infrastructure is maintained by Hostinger in accordance with industry-standard security practices.
7. Policy Updates
